Man, there's nothing worse than another monster coming out of nowhere to fuck up your capture by eating all your traps.I just had a Barroth wtf aggro me from like an entire area away and eat up three traps because the damn Jyura was chasing my dumbass cat and wouldn't get out of the fucking water.Anyways, I've been grinding out the optionals and hunting food item, interspersed with occasion Triple Threat runs for stress relief. The Gajalaka quest line required to get one of the meats was a pain all the through and FFS why does completing it not even keep the damn things from agroing you. Also, who hell at Capcom thought making the myriad Special Arenas to pad out the optional quest list was a good idea. I'm also wondering if it hitting HR 100 would be a legitimately faster way to get a commission ticket at this rate. IIRC the Behemoth's skeleton is new and it can be reworked to be used for the Fanged Wyvern Zinogre fairly well which opens up the possibility of him getting in and maybe even his Deviant form Thunderlord Zinogre.Plus I think another skeleton type they where having issues with was the Pseudo-Wyverns like Tigrex.
So if they iron out the kinks there we could see either a new pseudo wyvern or old ones comming back. IIRC there's even suppose to be an ice based map comming soon so Tigrex and Barioth would both work extremely well as monsters there. Click to expand. On the contrary, I've been paying attention to Behemoth's animations for a while since something's been bothering me about it, and I've realized that it doesn't have a fully unique skeleton. It seems to have a wingless variant of Nergigante's skeleton.I first noticed this when I was mounting Behemoth; the struggle animation looked familiar to me, and the knock down animation (where it kept flailing its paws trying to get back on its feet) was much more familiar.
Monsters with the same skeleton tend to share some animations; Vaal Hazak has the same skeleton as Teostra and Kushala Daora and will take flight during a mount despite never flying otherwise, and it's mount struggle and knockdown animations are also the same albeit slowed down compared to the other two.Since I first noticed this, other animations I've noticed are the paralyzed state, sleep state (from the status ailment), the shoulder tackle (without the wings), and the flying leap. I'm reasonably certain the animation for the punch that causes a line of explosions is based off the follow up attack Nergigante uses when someone gets knocked down, the one where it rears on its hindlegs and raises one fist up.

I have tested the result with my current equipment and the difference is almost 0.01-3 points. I am using this to compare the damage of the same weapon type so that I can select the best available weapon that I have when hunting different monsters. Ranged weapons are not yet included. For comments/suggestions/modification, please email me at zaniwrad769@gmail.com or zaniwrad769@yahoo.com.Weapon Type.
